The Coal City Community Unit School District is celebrating the 100th day of school today—Wednesday, Jan. 31.
Students observed the day in many ways from dressing up as if they were 100 years old to wearing shirts noting 100 days of being smarter, having their heads in the books, being brighter and it being their era. At the Intermediate School they also incorporated the day to mark the 100th Anniversary of Disney, so there were a lot of mouse ears on display.
