Kindness tree blooms

“If we could see the world through the eyes of a child, we would see the magic in everything….”

In the month of December, Mrs. Harseim’s class  introduced the “kindness tree." When a student is caught being kind, they are asked to place an ornament on the tree and their picture is sent home to their grown-ups explaining the kind act.

“This encourages and acknowledges acts of kindness within our classroom. The tree is a heartwarming way to foster caring and supportive relationships amongst our students.  The students love to watch  the tree come to life as good deeds are added daily.  The kindness tree has been a very effective way to reinforce positive character traits and foster the holiday spirit in our preschool classroom,” Harseim said.
