Kindergarten Families -
Welcome to Coal City Early Childhood Center! We are looking forward to the beginning of the school year and hope your student(s) is as well. The first ten days of Kindergarten are unique and exciting. The students are essentially divided into two groups - A group and B group. The students will attend every other day for the first ten days of school. We have found this to be so important for the students to be able to learn the routines and get acclimated to school with a smaller group.
You will receive information regarding the group your student(s) is in with the homeroom assignment letter coming this weekend! I am sharing a calendar to help keep track and I will also make sure the day is listed on the ECC events calendar. The calendar is easy to access on the ECC webpage and also on the new Coal City School District app! Make sure to follow the ECC for important information and announcements.
ALL Kindergarten students begin attending school EVERY day beginning on Wednesday, August 30th.
Reminder - you will find out if your student(s) is in the A group or B group with the homeroom assignment letter coming this weekend!
