Margaret Marsaglia, MS, CCC/SLP-L Speech Language Pathologist

Welcome!  My name is Margaret Marsaglia, and I am a speech language pathologist at the Coal City Early Childhood Center.  I have worked in the district since 2013.  I support all three grade levels at the ECC (preschool, kindergarten, 1st grade).  I am also a member of the building's activities committee.

I am a Coal City Coaler, class of 2007.  I graduated with my bachelor's degree from Augustana College in 2011.  I received my master's degree in speech language pathology from Fort Hays State University in 2013.

Communication is crucial to a student's success in school, so please feel free to contact me at anytime throughout the school year!

School-based speech language pathologists help students with a variety of disorders, including articulation, swallowing, voice, language, and stuttering.  As a member of a child's educational team, I assist in identifying, assessing, and evaluating communication disorders, as well as developing IEPs, and treating these disorders.  Collaboration with teachers and other support staff is key!
